About Me and Create. Market. Profit.
I’m a 26 year old guy from New York who has been making money online in some form since 1998, made a full living from it since 1999, made 6 figures a year since 2004, and lived entirely off passive income since 2005.
My sites and various pieces of content from them have been mentioned by the likes of:
- Business Week
- The Huffington Post
- Lifehacker
- Mashable
- Boing Boing
- CNET
- USA Today
- AOL.com
- TIME.com
- and much more.
I’ve made it to the front page of Digg a bunch of times, the front page of Delicious more times than that, and gotten StumbledUpon quite significantly even more times than that. I’ve done all 3 simultaneously a bunch of times, too.
I’ve been “doing SEO” since before the term “SEO” existed. Seriously. In fact, I’ve been doing SEO before Google existed. Suck on that, supposed SEO gurus.
My highest traffic site averages just over 20,000 unique visitors per day. My lowest traffic site averages about 4,000 unique visitors per day.
My highest earning site brings in 6 figures a year. My lowest earning site brings in about $30,000.00 per year.
With the exception of a summer job I had when I was 13, I have never really had anything close to a real job in my life. Never had a boss. Never had coworkers. Never had a commute. Never had a salary. Never had hours, or work days, or vacation days, or anything that put a specific time and date on when I was supposed to work and not work. I’ve never had work assignments, or tasks, or duties, or anything that put specific requirements on the things I was supposed to do and not do.
Basically, I work from whenever I want till whenever I want, doing what I want, the way I want… always.
This lifestyle is literally all I’ve ever known, and there isn’t one day in my life that passes where I don’t stop for a second and realize how fucking awesome that is.
And, for the record, I don’t say any of this to come across as a bragging douchebag. As you’ll see, I am anything but. Rather, I say these things to give the people reading my “about” page what they truly came here to see… proof that I actually have any idea what I’m talking about.
You didn’t come here to find out what music I like (rock, specifically indie rock) or what my favorite movie is (The Shawshank Redemption). You came here to find out how much money I make, how much experience and knowledge I have, and what I’ve accomplished that qualifies me as someone you should ever listen to.
The above was me giving you just that in a way that would hopefully make you think “Ok, maybe this guy kinda knows something about this stuff.”
If that’s the reaction you had, sweet. If not, or if you were smart enough to realize that these are all just words that any idiot could have said whether they were true or not, then I suggest you subscribe to my feed and start reading this blog on a regular basis to find out for yourself. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Why CreateMarketProfit.com?
Because it’s what I do, and if you’re reading this, it’s most likely what you do too (or are at least hoping and trying to do). Create something, market it, and profit from it.
It’s also my fallback explanation of what I do for a living. The “so, what do you do?” question is tough for me and people like me because there really isn’t one singular title (lawyer, doctor, mechanic, plumber) that gives people the quick, easy and accurate answer they’re looking for. So, I tend to go with something along the lines of: “I come up with ideas for cool and useful stuff online. Then I create this stuff in the best way possible, market it so that the people who’d like it/need it/want it actually find it, and then make money from it in some way.”
I guess I could just say “internet entrepreneur,” but that would most likely only lead to more questions. Plus, I think it makes me sound like a dick.
